Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

An update about me/Inspiration

So! I'm ready for the last part of school... probably the most intensive one, probably will push my health even futher to the limits... But my mind is set to this purpose that, even though it's gonna be hard as hell, I need to push trough. I'll never quit fighting this... There was a reason why I chose this path in the past... I need to see for myself whats truely out there... I need to trust my judgement a bit more..

I'm also planning to confront certain people from the past... I'm still going to wait a little bit longer, just to make sure that this new decision isn't an impuls, but jeah... I need to clean things up in my head. and if a direct confrontation is going to be the answer, just so I might be able to answer a few questions... I must do so...

so! As you perhaps have seen, the Elemental dragons have been a huge succes! I'm planning to make more series!

heck, If I'd make some more, I can make a "go fish" card deck!

I'm not sure when I can start the next series, since now I'm fighting against practical deadlines, but these are the next series of 4 I'm planning to do. I want to thank everybody who answered my poll because they're the main reason I've come up with so many new ideas!

- The 4 different kind of cards: spade (♠), heart (♥), diamond (♦) and club (♣)
- The 4 directions, east, west, south, north
- The 4 hogwarts houses, animal DNA of the 4 houses combined with dragon dna! >

- The 4 stages of life: baby/child, teenager, adult, old
- The 4 ways of travel: walk, fly, swim, dig
- The 4 seasons combined with seasonal gemstones
- The 4 apocalyptic horsemen (mix some dragon DNA with it)
- The 4 rocky planets of our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars
- The 4 human bloodgroups (A, B, AB, O)
- The 4 different states of matter: solid, liquid, gas, plasma
- The 12 zodiac signs combined with dragon DNA

If I can do those already! ^^" I would be happy!

But for now, schoolwork!

Also sorry if I'm absent these next months. It's gonna be such a buzy time...
