Description

so, I have crazy idea... just a little experiment.
I want to upload 1 piece of artwork each day.. sometimes a sketch, sometimes traditional artwork, sometimes digital. I hope it can help me with my art practise in general, and, while making these, I'm trying to listen to audioverse, Christian music, re-watch lectures, sermons, etc. This to break with the habbit of watching tv series while making art.. I think it can help both me, and my artmaking to learn loosen up while drawing.. I noticed I became too stressy, certainly while making digital work.. and I theorized it could be cause of the various tv shows + youtube channels I normaly watch during artmaking.. I never can work in full silence, but perhaps tv + youtube were too much to keep my art-thinking sharp, if that makes sense! :D haha!

but as a first experiment, I'm quite happy with it!
We will see what the future will hold! :D

happy Sabbath!

Wow, I hadn't checked DA in 2 months!
It's fantastic that you're doing this!!
My friend Caroline and I just recently, on the 19th, decided to do the same :D!

It's hard to believe how good this is for our work.. having to make a sketch a day brings in a lot of energy,
something tells me that this will help us improve beyond what we thought was possible!

Recently I've been coming to a realization, which I wish I'd understood before: That artwork for God should have the same energy,
and freedom it used to have before dedicating it to Him.. Even more, in fact... It's that "raw" energy and inspiration to make something
with our soul and the best of our strength. I hope this doesn't sound cheesy! But it's true.. The best work happens when a person draws
fully inspired, with freedom, and eliminating all fear. For some strange reason, I seemed to have thought that to make art for God, I had to
"kill" that energy, that this creative energy wasn't "allowed" for some undefined reason... how wrong was I!! My friend and I have decided
to attempt to put our "soul" more in the work we do.. and boy, what an improvement this is causing! I've been thinking that that "freedom"
and inspiration that comes with the art process is something that God gave to us, something that should be practiced and used to honor Him.
Honestly, I've never been so excited about art than now!

Congratulations on this plan you have!! Look forward to seeing what it will lead to! :w00t:
